The program requires 160 credits for graduation. Its graduates will receive BS in Engineering after 4 years academic study.

Educational Objectives:
1 To provide students with ground knowledge of natural science and overall capacity of social science, management science and foreign language.
2 To provide students with thorough groundings in a broader field of engineering like electrical engineering technology, electronic technology, control theory and intelligent control theory, computer technology and its application, computer network technology, information engineering and systems engineering.
3 To prepare students for engagement in system analysis and integration, design and operation, research and development, management and decision-making, etc in the related fields such as motion control, industrial process control, power electronics technology, testing and automation instrumentation, computer application technology, information processing, management and decision-making.
4 To prepare students for innovative and interdisciplinary high-level engineering professionals and management talents with global vision and broad general knowledge
5 To prepare students for high-quality innovative talents and future leaders with global vision and spirit of Truth Seeking.

Students attending the program are generally required to learn foundamentals of continuous and discrete control systems, motion control systems, intelligent control systems, computer control systems, computer network systems, large-scale system analysis and integration, etc., They will be equipped with capabilities of system analysis and integration, design and operation, research and development, management and decision-making.

To prepare students for the Program the above educational objectives to be achieved, a set of program outcomes are carefully designed as follows. Knowledge and abilities that graduates need to have are:
1. deep understandings of fundementals of science such as Mathematics and Physics, good knowledge of groundings of social science and management science, and good command of foreign language.
2. systematic knowledge of technology foundamentals necessary in areas of expertise, including circuit theory, electronic technology, control theory, information processing, computer hardware and software foundamentals and applications, etc..
3. favorable ability of professional knowledge and skills, and good understanding of cutting-edge trends of the relevant field.
4. better engineering practice training in system analysis, system integration, system design and system development
5. favorable job adaptation, and comprehensive capacity in scientific research and development, and organization and management
