Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering

Candidates will receive Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering after 3.5 years academic study. At least 14 credits are required for the degree, of which 4 credits go to general degree courses, 7 credits to compulsory course and optional course for the degree, 1 credit to Englsih for Electrical Engineering, and 2 for reading reports.

Educational Objectives:
1. Graduates will have the ability of integrating knowledge of breadth and depth of the related field, understanding sharply current work and frontiers of international and domestic research within the field.
2. Graduates will be equipped with knowledge within the field or other fields related, and trained with advanced research method. They will be enabled with good scientific literacy and have the capacity of conducting independent research work with innovative achievement.
3. Gradutes will be capable of a certain foreign language, proficient in professional learning, research and academic exchange.

Theory of Electrical Engineering and New Technology

Further Requirements:

Reading Report

Candidates are required to finish six reading reports or seminars, including at least 1or 2 reading reports publicly made at discipline or college forums. 2 credits

Thesis Proposal

Usually the proposal should be started no later than the end of the second year.
