High voltage IGBT (HVIGBT) modules are widely using in traction applications; such as trolley bus, trains, diesel-electric locomotives and high speed trains. In addition, it began to be used also for the heavy industry application; such as steel mill application, pump application, wind power application and electric power application. As for HVIGBT module, very high reliability and high performance are requested from above mentioned applications. Therefore, we develop high performance HVIGBT and are supplying it all over the world.
Recently, higher temperature operation is requested for larger current rating. Also, lower temperature operation is requested for the application for cold region. Therefore, we developed the new 1500A/3300V-HVIGBT that can operate at Tj=-50°C to Tj=150°C. It is necessary to developed new IGBT/Diode chips and optimized the package design in order to satisfy such new market requirement.
Thus, we are always developing new high performance HVIGBT modules.
Mr.Kurachi Kazuhiro 简介：
Mr.Kurachi Kazuhiro graduated from Electric Engineering Section of Kyushu Sangyo University in 1989 and he have been working in Mitsubishi Electric Co. for 20 years.The first 13 years,he worked for development of high power deices; such as Diode,Thyristor, GTO thyristore and GCT Thyristor(Gate Commutated Turn-off Thyristor) and some patents were acquired.Since 2003, he have been working for the development of HVIGBT modules.
