On behalf of the Conference Committee, we are pleased to extend the warmest invitation to you to participate in the Joint Meeting of 6th International Symposium on Noninvasive Functional Source Imaging within the Human Brain and Heart and the International Conference on Functional Biomedical Imaging (NFSI & ICFBI'07), to be held in Hangzhou, China from October 12-14, 2007. The NFSI & ICFBI Joint Meeting is organized by Zhejiang University, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, NFSI Group, International Society for Bioelectromagnetism, Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Electronic Society of Chinese Institute of Electronics, endorsed by the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering, and partially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education of China, and Y.C.TANG Disciplinary Development Fund of Zhejiang University.
The NFSI & ICFBI aims to provide a platform for scientific exchange of novel ideas on recent development in the field of functional biomedical source imaging, and functional biomedical imaging. The Joint Meeting will consist of invited lectures delivered by leading scientists in the field, and organized sessions in important areas in functional source imaging and functional biomedical imaging. We are very pleased that a strong program has been developed from a large number of submissions included invited keynote and plenary lectures. We would like to thank the members of Scientific Program Committee and reviewers for their hard work to provide rigorous review comments and select the papers for inclusion in the Program, to thank the members of the Student Paper Competition Committee for their hard work to conduct additional review of the students papers, to thank the members of Local Oganizing Committee for their hard work to handle numerous local arrangements matters.
We hope you will enjoy the strong and stimulating scientific program, and enjoy Hangzhou, which is one of the few most beautiful cities in China. Welcome!

About Hangzhou
Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province with the sub-provincial administrative level, is the center of provincial politics, economy, culture, science and education, and is one of the safest tourist-cities.
