Each year, no more than one-thousandth of the total membership is elected IEEE Fellows, the most prestigious honor granted by IEEE.

Prof. He Xiangning, the Associate Dean of CEE, is one of the academic leaders of Power Electronics and Drives, the national key discipline of Zhejiang University. Having long engaged in teaching, research and engineering application in the field of power electronics technology, he has been the academic leader for almost 10 years and is now an internationally renowned scholar in the field. Early in 1999, he was elected IEE Fellow (the British Institute of Electrical Engineers, now known as the IET ), which ranks among one of the most famous academic institutions around the world.

It is learned Prof. He is the only professor winning the honor this year at Zhejiang University.
