Prof Peter Cheung, head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Vice Dean for the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College visited EE College last Friday on Oct 25, together with Ms Angela Lin, Asia Recruitment Manageer of Imperial College.
Prof Cheung, head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Imperial College London visited CEE labs.
They visited EE labs of VLSI and Power Electronics in the morning, discussing with teachers there on the related areas. In the afternoon, a meething was held between delegates from Imperial College and professors from Faculty of Engineering of Zhejiang University to discuss further the cooperation between the two sides in areas of research and student training. Prof Wei Wei (executive dean of CEE), and Prof Ma Hao (vice dean of CEE) attended the meeting on behalf of EE College.
Early in May this year, delegates of Faculty of Engineering of Zhejiang University visited Imperial College London, yielding in the agreement of setting up the joint college. The visit by Imperial College demonstrated more profound cooperation between the two sides in the near future.
