The 2013 Hangzhou International Marathon kicked off Sunday morning Nov. 3 in Hangzhou, attracting 25,000 running enthusiasts from 26 countries and regions to run on the most beautiful scenic course.

Organized by CEE Graduate Students' Union, a total of 69 doctoral students from the College participated in the international competition, each student running all the way to the terminal point in full enthusiasm.
It was not the first time that CEE doctoral students had ever been organized for such marathon event. Just as the China University Student Online reported, marathon running proved to be a healthy living style for doctoral students and it was advocated that doctoral students nationwide develop good exercise habits in order to keep fit, which would hopefully benefit their study and research activities.
