On Jan 31th 2018, the 2017 annual year-end meeting and 2018 New Year Gala were held by EE College in Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University. All the faculty and staff of EE College attended the meeting.

SHENG Kuang, the Executive Dean of EE College, made the annual work report. He shared the good news in striving for a first-class discipline of EE College in 2017 and made work plan for 2018. He comprehensively analyzed the index system of the fourth round of discipline evaluation, and emphasized development directions, challenges and opportunities of EE College in the future, and put forward the strategies for talents training and discipline construction, which greatly encouraged the faculty and staff of EE College.
High-level talents in EE College have worked hand-in-hand, making tremendous contributions to college. The meeting honored teams and individuals in EE College who won the 2017 provincial awards, university awards and college awards.
WANG Ruifei, the Party Secretary of EE College, delivered his sincere thanks and greetings to all the faculty and staff working in EE College. WANG encouraged all the faculty and staff to be more innovative and to truly establish a first-class awareness. He hoped that everyone think about the existing questions calmly, and build up with a more open attitude to meet the forthcoming reform initiatives of ZJU. He conveyed the spirit of security and stability meeting of ZJU to remind teachers to pay special attention to laboratory safety and stability as well as personal and property safety in the upcoming winter vacation, and jointly create a harmonious situation.
After the meeting, the college held a lively New Year Gala. The teachers from different disciplines performed fantastic art shows and the leaders of EE College delivered a humorous poetry recitation about first-class construction. The amazing shows not only create a visual feast, but also expresses deep blessing and longing for a better life.
