The 2018 International Conference on IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT Asia 2018), was held from 22-25 May, 2018 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore. Many electric power experts and research scholars from all over the world, including Prof. Wen Fushuan from our EE College, gathered together to discuss the current status of smart grid operation in the world, share the most advanced research process, and jointly draw a blueprint for future development of the smart grid of the power grid. The theme of this year’s conference is “Smart Grid Technologies for Smart Nations” and includes industrial panel sessions, keynote speeches, tutorials, papers and poster presentation.
Prof. Wen Fushuan of our college was invited to attend the meeting and presided over the "Resilient Planning and Operation of Multiple Energy Systems" session. Besides, Yang Wentao, Zhao Yuxuan, Wang Jiaying, Gao Ying, Liu Xunyuan and Xue You of our college participated in the conference and gave presentations separately. Many scholars participated in this session, sharing the research on demand response, electricity market, collaborative operation and planning of electricity-gas, multi-energy coupling decision and management. The discussion atmosphere of this forum is enthusiastic.
