Professor Stanislaw M. Gubanski came to the beautiful west lake at the invitation of high voltage laboratory of College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University on November 8th, 2018. Representatives of students from the College of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering participated in the report, which was hosted by Prof. CHEN xiangrong, a researcher of the "One-hundred Talents Program of Zhejiang University" in the high voltage laboratory.
The communication report was divided into two parts. For the first part, researcher CHEN xiangrong mainly introduced the research progress of the high voltage laboratory. And in the second part, Professor Gubanski delivered a report on "Electrical Degradation treeing and partial discharges".
Finally, CHEN expressed sincere gratitude to Professor Gubanski and led him to visit the high voltage experimental hall, high-voltage insulation laboratory and insulating material production and processing laboratory. During the visit, the two teachers discussed the future research developing direction of the laboratory, and said that they would actively carry out scientific research exchanges in the future.
